DAS FLUFF EPK
A New Phase — New Material, Expanded Sound, Renewed Momentum

Das Fluff stand at the beginning of a bold new chapter. Armed with a new body of work, they continue to evolve their distinctive collision of post-punk, electronic abrasion and uncompromising performance, delivering a live show that is more visceral, immersive and unpredictable than ever.
At the centre of everything is Dawn Lintern, the band’s frontwoman. Dawn’s creative vision informs every aspect of Das Fluff – from composition to arrangement to performance – and is the driving force behind the band’s distinctive voice and evolving sound.
Long-time collaborator Christian Ruland continues to expand the band’s sonic palette with inventive electronic textures and integrated visual design. Together, the trio shape songs that balance raw emotional directness with creative unpredictability.

Screaming Dawn – Critical Response and Artistic Impact
Released in late 2023, the band’s 6th album, 'Screaming Dawn' marks one of Das Fluff’s’s most compelling collections to date. Critics recognised the album for its intense, immersive fusion of post-punk energy, electronic texture and emotional range. Reviews highlighted the record’s ability to evoke both seductive atmosphere and visceral tension: “filthy, sleazy and lost, electronics dripping with sweat, lust and neon,” capturing music that resonates with cinematic imagery and powerful emotional stakes.
Press commentary also noted the album’s creative ambition: its blend of electronic beats, melodic invention and rhythmic propulsion and framing 'Screaming Dawn' as an expansive work that explores psychological nuance within a vivid musical landscape.
The release celebrates Dawn’s return to London after years of artistic development in Berlin and beyond, and its themes reflect the turbulence and release of those years – from the claustrophobia of the pandemic to the open pulse of renewed connection and performance.

Live History and Musical Legacy
Das Fluff’s live performances are characterised by expressive power, dynamic presence and in particular, by Lintern’s fearless and beguiling interaction with the audience. Their shows have reached audiences across Europe, the US and Asia, translating studio intensity into engaging, high-impact live experiences.
Alongside extensive headline performances, the band has a vibrant history of having shared stages with notable artists including Viv Albertine, Lene Lovich, Toyah, Clan of Xymox, Aesthetic Perfection and Lydia Lunch.
The band’s creative trajectory shows a commitment to evolving sound and expressive depth. Their music continues to defy simple categorisation, blending electronic invention, thoughtful songwriting and compelling performance energy.
